Kat von D Beauty – Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette

Pastel dreams

Do you ever just want to feel like a sparkly, rainbow-coloured unicorn? I know I do! This small cute palette will kindly help you do the job! Let’s play!

The packaging

The packaging is your classic cardboard with a huge mirror on the inside. I contains 8 pans of eyeshadow of 1.70 grams of product each, which are pretty big!

On the outside it says Pastel Goth in the shades of the palette and on the back the names of the shades.

Colours

I searched for this palette for quite a while. Because the first four colorful shades are to die for! I’m a little bit annoyed at the dagger shade inside the palette, because a medium grey isn’t my definition of pastel.

From left to right we have:

– Star – bright yellow
– Clementine – peachy orange
– Meow – pinky violet
– Dope – bluetoned purple
– Doom – aquamarine
– Gloom – green
– Dagger – grey
– Skull – white

Don’t believe me just swatch
Here we see the colors again swatched on my arm. They are all very opaque and pigmented. Only the yellow shade called star is a bit chunky/chalky as you can see in the swatch. I was happily surprised by the white shade, being very opaque. As you can see all shades are matte.

She’s got the look

I eagerly waited for the right moment to try out this gem of a palette. So when I went to Dragcon UK with my queen Alyssa, I thought it was perfect timing! I almost rolled around in it using the shades both on my eyelids and as a contour! On my lips I’m wearing the Kat von D Studded Lipstick in Plan 9. The lashes are the Huda Beauty Mink Collection in the shape Marilyn.

Keep sparkling
